Oath or Affirmation

I, ________________________________________ do solemnly swear or affirm that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and the Constitution of the State of Ohio, against all enemies, both foreign and domestic; and that I make this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion. I will faithfully discharge my duties of office in the ODF, SODF Home Guard upon which I am about to enter. I solemnly swear or affirm that I do not advocate, nor am I a member of any political party or organization that advocates the overthrow of the government or this State by force or aggression, and that during such time that I am a member of the ODF, SODF Home Guard I will not advocate or become a member of any political party or organization that advocates the overthrow of the government of the United States of America or the State of Ohio by force of aggression, so help me God.
